About Us

The Hanford Education Foundation (HEF) is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to enriching and augmenting the educational programs of the Hanford Joint Union High School District and to improving the educational opportunities of HJUHSD students.

The foundation has been doing great work since 1997, however the organization took a brief hiatus from activity for about ten years. Since 2019, the foundation has reemerged with fundraising activities and events along with providing scholarships to students through our fundraising. We now look forward to an even stronger future as we embark on our membership model, our Educator Honor Wall, and our Foundation Hall of Fame. All of which will allow us to give back even more to our students and educational community.

Click here to learn about how you can purchase a tile for a favorite educator or educational supporter in our community. Our Educator Honor wall is for anyone who worked in education in Hanford or lived in Hanford while working in a neighboring community. In addition, educational supporters such as volunteers, coaches, financial contributors, etc. can be added to the Educational Supporter side of the wall. This is a fantastic gift and a way to honor those who have dedicated so much to education.
